Heat Exchangers

Heat Exchangers are a device which transfers heat from one medium to another; heat is transferred by conduction through the exchange materials which separate the mediums being used.

A shell and tube heat exchanger passes fluids through and over the tubes, whereas an air cooled heawt exchanger passes cool air through a core of fins to cool a liquid.

Site Maintenance & Fabrication Services designs and manufactures shell and tube Heat Exchangers. These are most commonly used and come in three types of construction: The Fixed Tubesheet, the U-tube and the Floating Tube Sheet.

We fabricate TEMA configurations, from single pass to multiple pass exchanges.

We design and fabricate according to a client’s requirements, specifications, process, need and application in accordance with ASME and TEMA codes.

Our scope also includes the following:

  • Manufacturing of a new heat exchanger, gas coolers and air coolers.
  • Retubing of a heat exchanger (both on and off-site).
  • Plugging of tubes.
  • Tube to tube-sheet welds repairs.
  • Retubing of condensers on and off-site.
  • Expansion of tubes.
